Candidates for 22/23 Executive Committtee
President-Elect

Jerod Castor
Transportation Director
Melissa ISD
Brittany Lay Lead Dispatcher Rockwall ISD
I’ve earned the opportunity to work in many departments within Transportation. This experience taught me the importance of continuous education to provide the most support I can to both the department and drivers. I have experience in working with the safety and training department, administrative responsibilities, routing (general education and McKinney Vento), dispatching and shop administrative responsibilities.
My ability to plan and organize has allowed me to take several business, finance and accounting classes while being a full-time employee and mother. I began my transportation career in 2017 with Frisco ISD as a bus driver. Within my first year of employment, I was helping out the routing department (routing McKinney Vento students), field trips (preparing buses/SUV’s for coaches) and the shop (imputing/processing work orders).
I am currently employed with Rockwall ISD as the Lead Dispatcher, Quest Router and assist with General Education Routing. I reside in Frisco, TX and have three wonderful children.

I am happy to be running for the Executive Office of Historian for the NTAPT. I am married to a wonderful teacher Jeanette. She works for Garland ISD. We have been married for 17 years and have three awesome kids. Olivia (29), Michael (14), and Georgia “Peach” (10).
I have been working in Transportation for the past 4 years and have loved every minute of it. I am blessed to be working with cameras and surveillance
I hope you will vote for me to serve you as Historian. Thank you for your vote.
