Our district spans 60 square miles along the I-635 corridor from I-20 to I-30 including the communities of Mesquite, Garland, and Balch Springs, as well as areas of the city of Dallas.

 

We serve 34 Elementary campuses, 10 Middle Schools, 6 High schools, and 2 special program centers

• In our first four weeks of school,  23 days… we have had an average of 265 absences. This is a daily tally, not including middays, extras, or field trips.

• We used every special ed spare bus we had on the lot one day and We used all but 5 of our reg ed spares as well.

• We had a Daily complaint since school started of no air on the bus.
