President Elect Candidates -

Candidate 1: Angelo Grau

Safety Trainer

at Mesquite ISD

I am looking to serve as your next President Elect. I have been a part of the NTAPT for years now. I don’t think I’ve ever missed a meeting since becoming a member. I love being a resource for other districts and enjoy sharing time with everyone at the meetings. I have learned a bunch from leaders all around North Texas and have been influenced to reach for bigger and brighter goals. I love the direction we are going in this chapter and want to simply continue it. We have great partnerships with vendors. We have made great progress with our committees. We have added awesome leaders to our Executive Committee that spotlight just how incredible the talent well is here in North Texas.

While you have many good choices for your next chapter leadership, I can humbly claim, I bring something very different to the table. You can’t go wrong with who you will choose. Everyone one of us have passion, “Grit”, and knowhow. All the leaders applying have something seriously incredible to bring to the table. But you will never find a more dedicated DFW Sports Fan than I. Go Stars! Go Rangers! Go Mavs!

GO COWBOYS!

You know who to vote for now.

Candidate 2: Jennifer Gardella

Director of Transportation

at Rockwall ISD

My passion for the transportation world keeps me on my toes and striving to help where I can. I have always aspired to the be the best I can be and be there for others.

I feel if I am chosen for NTAPT President Elect, I will be able document our year as needed along our transportation journey. I would be able to attend monthly meetings and any planning sessions to help our organizations. I understand the commitment getting to be part of the NTAPT community and what will be required, including the time away from work traveling and preparing for meetings and trainings. I have served on the TAPT Executive Committee as historian during the 22-23 term. Since 2023 I have served on the NTAPT Executive committee in various positions.

I have earned my official certification with TAPT and supervisor with NAPT. I received a continuing education award in Oklahoma earlier this year from the NTAPT. I enjoy learning from our colleagues and building relationships to allow us to work together to serve the state. I want to be able to lead by example. I am hoping that being part of the committee again allows me to add to my toolbox that helps me with information that I can pass along to help my district to ensure the safety of our children while in the care of bus drivers. My passion to provide the best I can I have instilled in my kids as well. I show them no matter the obstacle, don’t give up and keep pushing.

Thank you for your consideration for NTAPT President Elect for the 2025-2026 term

Candidate for Treasure -

Candidate Christina Dillehay

Director of Transportation

at Kaufman ISD

I am honored to announce my candidacy for the position of Treasurer for the North Texas Association of Pupil Transportation (NTAPT). I currently hold the position of Secretary of NTAPT, and believe that with my experience within our chapter's Executive Board it gives me the knowledge needed for a smooth transition of the Treasurer position.

In my role as Transportation Director for Kaufman ISD, I oversee the daily operations of the district’s transportation services, including budgeting, scheduling, fleet management, and safety protocols. My extensive experience in financial management, along with my commitment to student safety and operational efficiency, has given me the necessary skills to manage NTAPT’s financial resources effectively and efficiently.

I have a strong track record of working collaboratively with school districts, vendors, and staff, and I believe my experience will allow me to bring a transparent, and proactive approach to the Treasurer position. It would be my goal as Treasurer to make sure that our members have what they need when they need it.

It would be an honor to serve as NTAPT’s Treasurer, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our organization and the enhancement of pupil transportation across North Texas.

Thanks,

--

Christina Dillehay

Candidate 2 Kristi Madry

Senior Router

at Rockwall ISD

Hello, I specialize in special needs transportation. I started my journey in 2011 with Wylie ISD as a monitor then quickly became a driver. Cassandra Behr encouraged me to apply for her position of special needs route coordinator when she was leaving Wylie ISD in 2014. After taking 3 years away from transportation during covid, I found my way back to my love of student transportation. Where I have left a position as Special Needs Route Supervisor in Allen ISD to my current position as Senior Router at Rockwall ISD. I get to be a part of a rebuild with a new team, the experiences and opportunities alone have been challenging however so rewarding.

What I love most about transportation is the common goal we all share; to transport our students safely, as well as the community of friends and mentors we find along the way. I feel truly blessed for the connections I have made and the families I have built with each district I have been a part of.  I have 2 children that ride the bus daily in the district they attend and I know how important we matter. I am wanting to join the NTAPT executive committee because I feel I am ready to professionally grow with this amazing team! I want to continue to encourage and foster learning and building relationships with our members and those that aren’t currently members.

SO, LETS DO THIS!

This includes 5 years with Plano ISD Transportation, and a background as a director leading a private preschool. I have a strong history of working alongside vendors to provide value-added support to our industry, reflecting my commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

I am confident that my skills and experience will be a valuable asset to the committee. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve on the committee and contribute to its current and future success.

Candidates for Historian -

Candidate 1 Chandrea Miller

Bus Driver

at Dallas ISD

This year I've had the pleasure of being part of the NTAPT Committee as the Historian for the 2024-25 school year.

I would like to be a candidate for the historian role for the 2nd time around.

During this time, I was able to take pictures that captured so many memorable moments, like, what takes place at the monthly meetings, contests, events, and even special recognitions for our vendors and district staff and it's a great way to highlight each district for the website.

What a great year I've had so far with getting to know different districts and vendors and capturing each moment with them. I would love to be a candidate for 2025-26.

Have a great day.

Thank you!

Candidate 2 - Itzumi Goss

Route Supervisor

at Garland ISD

I began my career in school Transportation in 2007 as a bus driver in Wylie ISD. I’ve had the privilege of growing within this field over the past (18) years, serving as a Lead Driver, Discipline Coordinator before stepping into my current role as a Route Supervisor. This position allows me to serve the drivers, students and community; by providing safe and efficient transportation. I genuinely enjoy serving the community, but what means the most to me has been able to serve the students; my journey in this profession has been deeply rewarding. As a proud mother of five, this path has also allowed me the unique opportunity to transport my own children to and from school; an experience I will always cherish. I am passionate about school transportation, I’m dedicated to continuous growth and building lasting relationships with all stakeholders alongside my peers, this has been one of my greatest joys of my career. It will be an honor to serve on the NTAPT Executive Committee, I see this as a meaningful way to give back to the individuals who have poured knowledge, wisdom, and encouragement into me throughout my career.

Candidate 3 Windy Malone

Shop Operations Specialist

at Prosper ISD

I’ve been in the transportation industry for 14 years — 12 of those as a driver and the last two as a Shop Operations Specialist. I’m also a proud mother of two wonderful, grown children.

My journey into photography began when my son started playing baseball. I loved capturing every moment of his journey, from T-ball all the way through high school. When my beautiful daughter came along, I naturally turned my camera toward her, making her my little model. As she grew, so did my passion for photography. People started noticing my work and began asking me to capture their special moments as well.

What started as a hobby soon blossomed into a rewarding side hustle. I’ve photographed Little League sports in my hometown, weddings, senior portraits, family photos, parties, and a variety of events. I truly love freezing those special moments in time — preserving memories that last forever.

I would be honored to have the opportunity to capture the moments for NTAPT, creating lasting memories that can be cherished for years to come.
